The Story:

Our team was driven into construction out of frustration. We were tired of the status-quo and took control of our own projects. That was the birth of our first contracting companies. From there we grew together to create Citizen - where experience and passion collide.

Who We Are:

We are relationship-driven. Our experience as tenants and landlords allows us to navigate complex relationships with ease. This unique perspective creates a cohesive process before, during and after construction. Our goal is to de-stress the process for our clients.

How We Behave:

When you hire a GC they become a temporary industry partner in your business. We focus on creating value through the built environment to help you maximize your return (financial or enjoyment) on investment.

At Citizen Builders, we're more than builders; we're advocates for responsible citizenship in every aspect of our work.

All three of us (Devin, Nina, and Auggie) were fed up with our experiences as clients of general contractors. Everything was about making a quick buck, cutting corners, and leaving customers with subpar work. We were driven into this industry out of sheer frustration from our own projects.
But instead of just complaining, we’ve decided to do something different. We bring experience as tenants and landlords which allows us to navigate complex relationships with ease. This unique perspective creates a cohesive process before, during, and after construction; destressing the process for you, our clients.
